Whether a competition offers 10000x Futures is set per competition type. If it does not, you cannot open 10000x Futures positions in it. How the competitions themselves work: Trading Competition.

How to play

Join the competition, then trade 10000x Futures inside it as in the real game: Open and close a position. The stake comes from your competition balance and the payout goes back to it.

Futures terminal inside the Demo competition: BTC chart, order panel paid from the competition balance, and the trades table

What is the same

  • The coins, modes, leverage, take-profit, liquidation and fees are the same as in the real game.
  • The payout math is the same: Payout math.
  • The per-position stake limits are the same: $0.10 to $100.

What is different

Positions close at the competition end

A competition position never outlives its competition. Its max lifetime is cut to the competition end. At that moment the position settles as Expired at the index price, with the usual math: holding fee up to the end, profit fee if the price moved in your favour, loss fee if it did not.

Prices after the competition end do not count. A spike one second after the end cannot liquidate your position or trigger its take-profit. A liquidation or take-profit that happened before the end still applies.

Effective max lifetime=min⁡(mode max lifetime,  competition end−open time)\text{Effective max lifetime} = \min\bigl(\text{mode max lifetime},\; \text{competition end} - \text{open time}\bigr)

A position opened 2 hours before a daily Demo competition ends has at most 2 hours to run, even in a 24 h mode.

Separate balance, caps and history

  • The stake comes from your competition balance. Real-money and competition positions never mix.
  • The open-stake caps per coin and in total have the same values as in the real game, but they count only your open positions in that competition.
  • Your open and closed trades and the public feed in a competition show only that competition's positions.
  • While any position is open, 10000x Futures or Synthetic, you cannot refill your competition balance.

Leaderboard and prizes

10000x Futures results move your competition balance, and the leaderboard ranks you on your balance minus the starting balance. A closed 10000x Futures position also adds to your count of closed positions.

If a prize place requires a minimum trading volume, each closed 10000x Futures position counts as

V=S⋅min⁡(L,  Lcap)V = S \cdot \min\bigl(L,\; L_{\text{cap}}\bigr)

with Lcap=L_{\text{cap}} = 100x. With a 100x cap, a $10 position at 1,000x adds $10×100=$1,000\$10 \times 100 = \$1{,}000 of volume, the same as a $10 position at 100x. A $10 position at a leverage below the cap adds $10×L\$10 \times L.

No real-money rewards

10000x Futures positions played with a competition balance earn no points and no referral rewards.

Edge cases

  • Open at the end. You do not need to close before the end. Open positions settle at the end on their own.
  • Not registered. Opening without joining the competition fails. Join first.
  • Competition not started or already over. You cannot open a position with its balance.

FAQ

Do I pay real fees in a competition?

The fees are charged in the same way, but on your competition balance, not on real money.

Can a 10000x Futures position carry over to the next day's Demo competition?

No. Every competition position settles at that competition's end.
