10000x Futures fees

LiveLast verified 4 Nov 2026

10000x Futures charges three fees, all taken from the position at settlement: a holding fee for every minute the position is open, a profit fee on gains, and a loss fee when a manual close or expiry ends without a favourable move.

There is no fee to open a position and no funding rate. The whole stake goes into the position. The rates depend on the asset and the mode.

When each fee applies

Manual close, price flat or against youYesNoYes
Max lifetime, price moved in your favourYesYes, on the gainNo
Max lifetime, price flat or against youYesNoYes

"In your favour" means the exit price is above the entry price for a long, or below it for a short. A close at exactly the entry price is not in your favour, so it pays the loss fee.

Holding fee

A fixed share of your stake for every minute the position is open, counted to the millisecond:

H=min⁡(S,  S⋅h⋅t)H = \min\bigl(S,\; S \cdot h \cdot t\bigr)

SS is the stake, hh the holding fee per minute and tt the minutes open. The fee does not depend on the price. It shrinks the stake that earns or loses money (the effective stake S−HS - H), so it also makes every later gain smaller.

$20 at 0.03% per minute for 45 minutes: $20×0.0003×45=$0.27\$20 \times 0.0003 \times 45 = \$0.27. The position now works with $19.73. The live PnL already includes the holding fee so far.

Profit fee

A share of the gain from the price move, taken when the position ends in profit:

Fp=fp⋅GF_p = f_p \cdot G

GG is the gain before fees, at most the profit cap. On a take-profit, GG is the full cap.

A 10,000x BTC position that hits its take-profit with a $10 stake has G=10×10=100G = 10 \times 10 = 100. With a 30% profit fee, Fp=30F_p = 30.

Loss fee

A share of your original stake, charged when you close by hand or the position expires and the price did not move in your favour:

Fℓ=min⁡(fℓ⋅S,  what is left)F_\ell = \min\bigl(f_\ell \cdot S,\; \text{what is left}\bigr)

"What is left" is the effective stake minus the price loss. The loss fee never pushes the payout below 0.

A $10 position in a mode with a 20% loss fee pays $2 on a flat or losing close, whether the loss from the price was 1 cent or 5 dollars.

tip

The loss fee is a fixed amount per position, so it hurts most on small, early closes. If you close a position that is flat after a few seconds, you pay the full loss fee. In high-leverage modes that can be half the stake.

Fees per mode

Current rates for every asset and mode. "Per hour" is 60 × the per-minute rate. "Over the full lifetime" is the share of the stake the holding fee takes if the position runs to its max lifetime (100% means it closes early because the holding fee used up the stake).

Edge cases

  • Rounding. Fees are rounded up to the nearest 0.000001 USDT. A favourable move so small that the gain rounds down to 0 counts as flat and pays the loss fee.
  • Loss fee on a near-liquidation close. If the price loss leaves less than the loss fee, the loss fee takes what is left and the payout is 0.
  • No price at expiry. If no index price exists for the moment a position expires, it settles flat at the entry price without a loss fee.
  • Competitions. 10000x Futures in a competition uses the same modes and fees. See 10000x Futures in competitions.

FAQ

Why does closing at the entry price cost me money?

A flat close counts as a loss and pays the loss fee on the stake, plus the holding fee for the time open.

Can I pay both the profit fee and the loss fee?

No. A gain pays the profit fee only. No gain pays the loss fee only (on a manual close or expiry).

Is the holding fee charged every minute from my balance?

No. Your balance is not touched while the position is open. The holding fee is subtracted from the position when it settles, and it is already included in the live PnL.
