10000x Futures limits
10000x Futures limits how much you can stake per position, per coin and in total, and how soon you can close a position after opening it.
All limits are checked when you open, before anything is taken from your balance.

How the open-stake caps work
The caps count the original stakes of your positions that are still open. Payouts, profits and fees do not count. When a position closes, its stake no longer counts and you can open again.
A new position is accepted only if both hold:
Example with a $100 cap per coin: you have a $60 BTC position open. A new BTC position can be at most $40. An ETH position can still be up to the per-position maximum, as long as your total stays within the total cap.
You hold one position per coin at a time.
Real-balance positions and competition positions are counted separately. A competition has its own caps with the same values, summed over that competition only.
Minimum hold
You cannot close a position by hand in the first 1 s after it opens. The minimum hold does not apply to the automatic endings: a position can be liquidated or hit its take-profit in its first second.
Stake precision
Stakes are in whole cents: up to 2 decimal places, for example 0.25 or 12.50.
Edge cases
- Opening paused. When new positions are paused, you cannot open one. Open positions are not affected.
- Balance. A stake larger than your balance cannot be opened.
- Price not fresh. If there is no fresh index price, the open fails before anything is taken. See Price index and execution.
FAQ
Do profits count toward the caps?
No. Only the stakes of open positions count.
Why can I not open a second position on the same coin?
You hold one position per coin. Close it first, or trade another coin.
