10000x Futures payout math

LiveLast verified 4 Nov 2026

10000x Futures settles every position with the formulas below, from the liquidation price to the final payout. Each one has worked examples you can check by hand.

All amounts are in USDT. Prices are index prices in USD. Rates are fractions: 0.25% is written 0.00250.0025.

Symbols

SymbolMeaning
SSStake: the amount you put in
P0P_0Entry price
PPIndex price at the close
ssDirection: +1+1 for a long, −1-1 for a short
LLLeverage
mmMax profit multiple (profit cap =m⋅S= m \cdot S)
ddLiquidation distance, fraction of P0P_0
hhHolding fee per minute, fraction of SS
ttMinutes the position has been open
fpf_pProfit fee, fraction of the profit
fℓf_\ellLoss fee, fraction of the stake SS

LL, mm and dd are in the mode tables; hh, fpf_p and fℓf_\ell in fees per mode.

Price levels

Both levels are fixed the moment the position opens.

Liquidation price. A set distance dd against you:

Pliq=P0 (1−s d)P_{\text{liq}} = P_0\,(1 - s\,d)

Long BTC at P0=100,000P_0 = 100{,}000 with d=0.0025d = 0.0025 (100x mode): Pliq=100,000×0.9975=99,750P_{\text{liq}} = 100{,}000 \times 0.9975 = 99{,}750. A short would have 100,000×1.0025=100,250100{,}000 \times 1.0025 = 100{,}250.

Take-profit price. The price at which leverage times the move equals the cap mm:

Ptp=max⁡ ⁣(0,  P0 (1+s mL))P_{\text{tp}} = \max\!\Bigl(0,\; P_0\,\bigl(1 + s\,\tfrac{m}{L}\bigr)\Bigr)

Long BTC at 100,000100{,}000 in the 10,000x mode (m=10m = 10, L=10,000L = 10{,}000): the move is 10/10,000=0.1%10 / 10{,}000 = 0.1\%, so Ptp=100,100P_{\text{tp}} = 100{,}100. In the 100x mode (m=50m = 50) the move is 50/100=50%50 / 100 = 50\%, so a long needs 150,000150{,}000.

The liquidation is triggered by a price strictly beyond PliqP_{\text{liq}}. The take-profit is triggered by a price at or beyond PtpP_{\text{tp}}.

Holding fee and effective stake

The holding fee eats into the stake in a straight line over time:

H=min⁡(S,  S⋅h⋅t)Seff=S−HH = \min\bigl(S,\; S \cdot h \cdot t\bigr) \qquad S_{\text{eff}} = S - H

SeffS_{\text{eff}} is the effective stake: the part of the stake still working for you. tt counts real time to the millisecond, not whole minutes.

$10 at h=0.0002h = 0.0002 (0.02% per minute) for 30 minutes: H=10×0.0002×30=0.06H = 10 \times 0.0002 \times 30 = 0.06, so Seff=9.94S_{\text{eff}} = 9.94. After 24 hours (1,440 minutes): H=2.88H = 2.88 and Seff=7.12S_{\text{eff}} = 7.12.

Profit or loss from the price

Let xx be the price move in your favour, as a fraction of the entry price:

x=s⋅P−P0P0x = s \cdot \frac{P - P_0}{P_0}

A long from 100,000 closed at 100,100 has x=+0.001x = +0.001. A short closed at the same price has x=−0.001x = -0.001.

Gain

When x≥0x \ge 0 the effective stake is multiplied by the leverage, up to the cap on the original stake:

G=min⁡(Seff⋅L⋅x,    m⋅S)G = \min\bigl(S_{\text{eff}} \cdot L \cdot x,\;\; m \cdot S\bigr)

Seff=9.99S_{\text{eff}} = 9.99, L=100L = 100, x=0.001x = 0.001: G=9.99×100×0.001=0.999G = 9.99 \times 100 \times 0.001 = 0.999. The cap here is 50×10=50050 \times 10 = 500, far away.

When the position ends at the take-profit cap, G=m⋅SG = m \cdot S exactly, whatever the holding fee.

Loss

When x<0x < 0 the loss is the share of the way to the liquidation price, applied to the effective stake:

G=− Seff⋅∣x∣dG = -\,S_{\text{eff}} \cdot \frac{\lvert x \rvert}{d}

The loss is 0 at the entry price, half of SeffS_{\text{eff}} halfway to PliqP_{\text{liq}}, and all of SeffS_{\text{eff}} at PliqP_{\text{liq}}. Leverage does not appear: the liquidation distance alone sets how fast you lose.

1,000x mode (d=0.00025d = 0.00025, so Pliq=99,975P_{\text{liq}} = 99{,}975 for a long from 100,000), closed at 99,990: ∣x∣=0.0001\lvert x \rvert = 0.0001, and 0.0001/0.00025=40%0.0001 / 0.00025 = 40\%. With Seff=9.994S_{\text{eff}} = 9.994 the loss is 9.994×0.4=3.99769.994 \times 0.4 = 3.9976.

info

Gains and losses are not symmetric. In the 1,000x mode a 0.01% move in your favour earns 1,000×0.0001=10%1{,}000 \times 0.0001 = 10\% of the effective stake, while a 0.01% move against you loses 0.0001/0.00025=40%0.0001 / 0.00025 = 40\% of it.

Fees

Exactly one of the two price fees applies to a position, never both.

Profit fee, when the price result is a gain (including the take-profit cap):

Fp=fp⋅Gif G>0,Fp=0 otherwiseF_p = f_p \cdot G \quad \text{if } G > 0, \qquad F_p = 0 \text{ otherwise}

Loss fee, when you close by hand or the position expires and the price did not move in your favour (G≤0G \le 0, so a close exactly at the entry price counts). It is a share of the original stake, capped at what is left:

Fℓ=min⁡(fℓ⋅S,    Seff+G)F_\ell = \min\bigl(f_\ell \cdot S,\;\; S_{\text{eff}} + G\bigr)

The loss fee is not charged on a take-profit, a liquidation or a holding-fee close. More on when each fee applies: 10000x Futures fees.

Payout

Payout={0liquidation or holding fee used up the stakemax⁡(0,  Seff+G−Fp−Fℓ)otherwise\text{Payout} = \begin{cases} 0 & \text{liquidation or holding fee used up the stake} \\ \max\bigl(0,\; S_{\text{eff}} + G - F_p - F_\ell\bigr) & \text{otherwise} \end{cases} Net result=Payout−SROI=Payout−SS\text{Net result} = \text{Payout} - S \qquad \text{ROI} = \frac{\text{Payout} - S}{S}

The payout is never below 0, so you never lose more than SS. The app shows the net result as PnL.

Rounding

The server computes every amount in whole units of 0.000001 USDT. Fees and losses are rounded up, and gains are rounded down, to the nearest 0.000001 USDT. In practice your payout is rounded down to the nearest 0.000001 USDT, and a single step of rounding is never more than 0.000001 USDT.

Example: a $0.37 stake held for 7 seconds at 0.02% per minute has a holding fee of 0.37×0.0002×7/60=0.0000086…0.37 \times 0.0002 \times 7/60 = 0.0000086\ldots USDT, charged as 0.000009 USDT.

Worked examples

All examples use BTC modes as they were on 4 Nov 2026 and an entry price of 100,000. Values for other assets and the current numbers are in the mode tables and fees per mode.

Example 1: take-profit hit

$10 long in the 10,000x mode. The index touches 100,100 after 2 minutes.

Net result79.996−1079.996 - 10+69.996 (+699.96%)

A move of 0.1% made seven times the stake. In this mode a move of 0.0002% the other way, 20 cents on BTC, would have lost all of it.

Example 2: liquidation

$25 short in the 1,000x mode. Liquidation price 100,000×1.00025=100,025100{,}000 \times 1.00025 = 100{,}025. After 40 seconds one index price prints at 100,030, beyond the liquidation price.

Net result−25 (−100%)

It does not matter that the next price was back at 100,010. Had the price stopped at exactly 100,025, the position would still be open.

Example 3: expiry in profit after holding decay

$10 long in the 100x mode. Nobody closes it, and after 24 hours the index is at 100,050, a move of 0.05% in your favour.

The price ended in your favour and you still lost a quarter of the stake. The same move closed after 10 minutes pays 9.98+0.499−0.0499=10.42919.98 + 0.499 - 0.0499 = 10.4291, a net gain of 0.4291.

Example 4: flat manual close with loss fee

$10 long in the 100x mode, closed by hand after 1 minute at exactly the entry price.

StepCalculationResult

Net result8.998−108.998 - 10−1.002 (−10.02%)

A flat close costs the full loss fee. In the 10,000x mode the same close would cost half the stake.

Example 5: manual close at a loss

$10 long in the 1,000x mode (Pliq=99,975P_{\text{liq}} = 99{,}975), closed by hand after 3 minutes at 99,990.

Net result10.8891−1010.8891 - 10+0.8891 (+8.89%)

A short closed at 99,900 after 5 minutes gives the same result.

Edge case: loss fee larger than what is left

$10 long in the 100x mode, closed by hand after 1 minute at 99,760, just above the liquidation price of 99,750. The loss is 9.998×240/250=9.598089.998 \times 240 / 250 = 9.59808, which leaves 0.399920.39992. The loss fee would be $1 but is capped at the 0.399920.39992 left, so the payout is 0. Closing this close to the liquidation price returns nothing.

The calculator settles at the price you enter. A real position also ends earlier if any price on the way touches the liquidation or the take-profit price.

FAQ

Why is my profit smaller than leverage × move × stake?

Two reasons. The gain uses the effective stake, which the holding fee shrinks every minute. And the profit fee is taken from the gain.

Why does the take-profit pay the cap on my original stake when the gain uses the effective stake?

The cap is fixed on the original stake when you open, and the take-profit price is set where leverage × move reaches it. At that price you get exactly m⋅Sm \cdot S, before the profit fee.

Is a close at the entry price free?

No. A flat close counts as a loss and pays the loss fee, plus the holding fee so far.
