Open and close a 10000x Futures position

LiveLast verified 4 Nov 2026

A 10000x Futures position is opened with a stake, a mode and a side, and closed by you or by one of its automatic endings.

You need USDT on your balance. To play with a competition balance instead, see 10000x Futures in competitions.

Open a position

Pick a coin, enter your stake, choose the mode with the leverage slider and tap Long (you profit if the price rises) or Short (you profit if it falls).

  2. Balance and deposit

  4. Leverage slider (mode)
  5. Leverage
  6. Liq.Price long / short
  7. Long and Short

  • Stake. The USDT that leaves your balance when the position opens. It is the most you can lose.
  • Mode. The slider starts at the coin's highest leverage. Before you open, the app shows the liquidation price a long and a short would get right now.
  • Fill. The position opens at the next index price, not the price on screen when you tapped. See Price index and execution.

The take-profit price is not shown before you open. The take-profit move is the max profit multiple divided by the leverage, both in the mode tables. Formulas: Payout math.

An open is refused, before anything is taken from your balance, when:

  • the stake is below $0.10 or above $100;
  • your open stake on this coin plus the new stake exceeds the per-coin cap;
  • your open stake on all coins plus the new stake exceeds $1,000;
  • the stake is larger than your balance;
  • opening new positions is paused. Open positions keep running and closing as usual.

While it is open

You hold one position per coin at a time. Each one counts toward your open-stake caps. The chart marks your entry and liquidation price.

Chart with an open long: dashed entry price line, the orange liquidation line below the price, the live multiplier and result, and the Close Long button

The live PnL is what you would get if you closed now, minus the stake: it already includes the holding fee so far and the profit fee or loss fee that the close would pay. A position at its entry price therefore shows a loss that grows by the minute. See 10000x Futures fees.

Close a position

You can close by hand 1 s or more after opening. The position closes at the next index price after your request. If the price crossed your liquidation price at any moment since you opened, including while the close was being processed, the position is liquidated instead. The payout goes to your balance at once.

You do not have to close by hand. A position also ends on its own at the take-profit cap, at liquidation and at its max lifetime: How a position ends.

History and the public feed

Every settled position is kept in your history with its exit price, the loss fee charged (if any), PnL, ROI and how it ended: Closed, Take profit hit, Liquidated, Expired or Position closed due to holding fee. The public feed shows the latest settled positions of all traders.

Closed Trades tab: your settled BTC positions, each with entry and exit price, amount, liquidation price, fee, PnL, ROI and the status Closed or Liquidated

FAQ

Can I change the stake or leverage of an open position?

No. Stake, leverage, liquidation price and take-profit price are fixed at open. Close the position and open a new one.

Can I set my own stop-loss or take-profit?

No. Every position has the fixed take-profit cap and liquidation price of its mode. You can close by hand at any time after the minimum hold.

Why did my position open at a different price than the one I saw?

10000x Futures fills at the first index price computed after your request arrives, so it can differ from the price on screen by one or two updates. See Price index and execution.

Why is my PnL negative right after opening?

The holding fee starts at once, and a close at the entry price pays the loss fee. Both are in the PnL shown.
