Balances explained
Your Catapult account has a Main balance for everything you do with your own money, and a separate Competition Balance for each trading competition you join.
Main balance
Your balance in US dollars. Deposits, coupons, closed trades, creator fees and rewards land here. You use it for 10000x Futures, Synthetic, token creation and boosters, and you withdraw from it.
Money in an open position leaves the Main balance when you open it and comes back, with the profit or loss and minus fees, when you close it.
Every deposit, trade, fee and withdrawal is listed in your transaction history at catapult.trade/dashboard/transactions. To add money or take it out, see Deposits and withdrawals.
Competition Balance
Each competition gives you a separate balance ($1,000 in the Demo competition) that exists only for that competition. You cannot withdraw it and it never mixes with your Main balance. What you win is paid as prizes. See Trading Competition.
| Main balance | Competition Balance | |
|---|---|---|
| Comes from | Deposits, coupons, trading profit, rewards | The competition, when you join |
| 10000x Futures and Synthetic | Yes | Only inside the competition |
| Withdraw | Yes | No |
$PULT is held separately from both. See $PULT.
FAQ
Why is my balance lower than my deposits? Money in open trades is not in your Main balance until you close them.
