Converting winnings to bonus

Web appLast verified 4 Nov 2026

The bonus case turns competition profit into bonus money on your real account: you give up $100 of competition balance for every $1 of bonus, deposit that $1 to your Main balance, and get $1 of bonus on top of it.

How it works

Once your competition balance is above the case target, you open the case and choose how much bonus to take. Claiming reserves the matching competition balance for a limited time. You then deposit the same dollar amount to your Main balance (Deposits and withdrawals); close any open real-money positions first, because a deposit does not count while one is open. When the deposit arrives, the reserved balance is spent and the bonus lands on your Bonus Balance.

Rules

RuleValue
Rate$100 of competition balance per $1 of bonus
Bonus per caseBetween a per-case minimum and maximum
Daily limitA per-person cap per competition day
What you can exchangeFree balance above the starting $1,000
Deposit neededEqual to the bonus: $1 deposit per $1 of bonus
ReservationLasts until the countdown ends or the competition day ends, whichever is first
Several casesAllowed in one day while the free balance and the daily limit allow

Only the free excess counts:

E=max⁡(0,  B−H−B0)E = \max\bigl(0,\; B - H - B_0\bigr)

where BB is your competition balance, HH the amount already reserved by open cases, and B0B_0 = $1,000.

The largest bonus you can choose:

bonusmax=min⁡(E100,  max per case,  daily cap−used today)\text{bonus}_{max} = \min\Bigl(\frac{E}{100},\; \text{max per case},\; \text{daily cap} - \text{used today}\Bigr)

and it must be at least the minimum per case, or the case stays locked. "Used today" counts bonus already received and bonus still waiting for a deposit.

The case target that unlocks the case:

Bunlock=B0+100×min per caseB_{unlock} = B_0 + 100 \times \text{min per case}

For example, with a $5 minimum the case unlocks at 1000 + 100 × 5 = $1,500.

A deposit that arrives partly covers the case partly: $3 of a $10 case gives $3 of bonus and spends $300 of competition balance. The remaining $7 of the case stays reserved until the countdown ends.

Worked examples

Example 1: one case. It is 18:00 UTC and your balance is $2,450, no case open.

  • Free excess: E=2450−0−1000=1450E = 2450 - 0 - 1000 = 1450.
  • By balance you can take up to 1450 / 100 = $14.50 of bonus (lower if the maximum per case or the daily cap is lower).
  • You choose $10. The case reserves 10 × 100 = $1,000.
  • You deposit $10. Competition balance: 2450 - 1000 = 1450. Leaderboard P&L drops from +1,450+1{,}450 to +450+450.
  • Main balance: +$10 (your deposit). Bonus Balance: +$10.

Example 2: not enough excess. Your balance is $1,320. E=320E = 320, so by balance the case allows up to $3.20. With a $5 minimum that is not enough and the case stays locked. You need $1,500 to open it.

Example 3: trade-off with a prize. You are 4th with $2,100 an hour before the end. A $5 case costs $500 of balance and takes you to $1,600. If that drops you out of the top 30, you trade a prize (see Prizes and leaderboard) for a $5 bonus. Check the leaderboard before you claim.

Using and keeping the bonus

The bonus from a case is ordinary Bonus Balance:

  • It trades under the bonus rules, which decide when bonus funds can be spent.
  • It becomes real, withdrawable money once you make 10x the bonus in profit on Synthetic: for a $10 bonus, $100 of profit. See Bonuses and coupons.
Don't withdraw right away

Your deposit backs the case bonus. A withdrawal that leaves less withdrawable real money than the case bonus you received, minus your net loss on real-money trades since you received it, removes all of your case bonus at once.

case bonus kept ifWafter≥Bcase−L\text{case bonus kept if}\quad W_{after} \ge B_{case} - L

where WafterW_{after} is your withdrawable real money after the withdrawal, BcaseB_{case} the case bonus you received ($1 per $1 you deposited for it) and LL your net realized loss on real-money trades since it was credited (0 if you are in profit since then). With several cases, the rule uses the case bonus of all of them together, and a dollar of loss counts once.

Example 4. You deposited $50 for a $50 case bonus. You have $80 of withdrawable real money and no real-money loss since.

  • Withdraw $30: Wafter=50≥50W_{after} = 50 \ge 50. The bonus stays.
  • Withdraw $31: Wafter=49<50W_{after} = 49 < 50. All $50 of case bonus is removed.

Example 5. Same case, but you then lost $20 on real-money trades. Now Bcase−L=30B_{case} - L = 30: the bonus stays as long as at least $30 of withdrawable real money is left after the withdrawal.

The rule stops applying once no case bonus is left on your account or in your open positions (spent in trading or unlocked).

Edge cases

  • Open real-money positions. A deposit made while you have real money in open positions stays plain real money and fills no case. The case stays reserved; close the positions and deposit again.
  • Recharge while a case is reserved. Not possible. Finish or let the reservation expire first.
  • Day ends with an open case. The reservation is released and nothing is debited.

FAQ

Is the bonus real money? It is Bonus Balance: real trading power that turns into withdrawable money after the unlock rule.

Does the case cost me a prize? It lowers your competition balance by $100 per $1 of bonus, and the leaderboard ranks by balance. Near the prize line this can cost you places.

Can I use the case in Arena? No. It is a Demo feature only.
