Points are a lifetime score for your activity on Catapult: you earn them for trading volume, for launching tokens and for the trading of people you invited, and they set your tier and your place on the points leaderboard.

How you earn points

Competition trades (Demo and Arena) earn no points. Trades paid with Bonus Balance earn points only for the real-money part.

Formulas

Synthetic, per position:

$$P_{open} = A \cdot L \cdot m_{open} \qquad P_{close} = C \cdot L \cdot m_{close}$$

where $A$ is the margin that goes into the position after the open fee (real-money part only), $L$ the leverage (1 for spot), $C$ the amount you get back when you close, and $m$ the booster multiplier of the token at the moment of that trade (1 without a booster). A liquidated position gets $P_{close} = 0$.

10000x Futures, per position:

$$P = S \cdot \min(L,\ 100)$$

where $S$ is the stake. The cap is 100x today.

Token launch:

$$P = \text{launch cost} \times 10$$

with 10 = 10 points per dollar (as of 4 Nov 2026).

Referral points, per trade of someone you invited:

$$P_{ref} = V \cdot \frac{s}{2}$$

where $s$ is your tier's direct share (see the tier table) and $V$ the volume of the trade: for Synthetic, the amount your referral paid, fee included; for Futures, the stake times leverage counted up to 100x. Your referral keeps all of their own points; yours are extra.

Booster multipliers

Boosted tokens multiply trading points for every trade made while the booster runs.

Worked examples

Spot round trip. You pay about $202.02 for a spot buy at 1x with no booster; after the 1% open fee, $200 goes into the position. You sell for $260. $P = 200 \cdot 1 + 260 \cdot 1 = 460$ points.

Leverage with a booster. You open a 10x position with $50 of margin (after the open fee) on a token with a 2x booster running, and close for $70 after the booster ended. $P_{open} = 50 \cdot 10 \cdot 2 = 1{,}000$, $P_{close} = 70 \cdot 10 \cdot 1 = 700$, total 1,700 points.

Liquidated position. You open a 10x position with $50 of margin and no booster, and get liquidated. $P = 50 \cdot 10 = 500$ points from the open, 0 from the close.

Futures. You stake $20 on a 1,000x Futures mode. Points at close: 20 × min(1000, 100) = 2,000.

Token launch. Launching a token that costs $12 gives 12 × 10 = 120 points.

Referral. You are in Tier 1 (15% direct share). Your direct referral pays $1,000 for a buy, fee included: $P_{ref} = 1000 \cdot 0.15 / 2 = 75$ points for you.

Tiers

Your tier depends only on your total points. There are 12 tiers; the first starts at 0 and the top one at 25,000,000 points. Points never expire and never reset, so a tier, once reached, is kept.

Points leaderboard

• Ranks all users by total points, all time. There are no seasons.
• Each user also has a place inside their tier. Futures points count in the total.
• Refreshes every 6 hours, at 00:37, 06:37, 12:37 and 18:37 UTC.

Points and the $PULT airdrop

Every user on the points leaderboard will have their points converted to $PULT tokens at TGE. The exact conversion formulas will be published publicly before TGE.

• The conversion uses your total points, all time. Points never expire, so every point you earn before the conversion counts.
• Competition trades earn no points, so they add nothing to your conversion.

FAQ

When do my points turn into $PULT? At TGE. The formulas are published before TGE.

Why did my leaderboard place not change after a big trade? The leaderboard refreshes every 6 hours.

Do competition trades count? No. Only trades with real money (and the real part of bonus trades) earn points.
